Today I’ll let the picture do the talking.
Spring where are you?
Todays photo was shot last year at Phipps Conservatory in Pittsburgh. I’m posting it today to get myself interested in visiting Phipps again soon to photograph one of my favorite subjects: Miniatures
I photographed these gargoyles and statues while a Phipps Conservatory a few years ago. I personally like how the light and shadow set the mood for the photographs.
What so you think?
Tonight my post is of a flower that just looked like it was working hard. I thought the water droplets and flush colors made it look as though it had just finished a tough workout and was ready for a cool drink.
Tonight I thought I would post a flower for you. I posted this flower a while ago in a group of flowers but thought it deserved its own post.
As I looked through photos searching for something to post tonight I came across this sad orchid. As I looked at this orchid I thought to myself that this particular orchid was having a really bad day. I wondered if the photo reflected my personal feelings at the time.
Do you think that your photography represents how you feel when your taking the photo?
Tonight just felt like I should post a photo of an orchid.
Hope you agree.
Tonights post is simply a close up of a flower. The question is How Close Can You Get? And do you think there is a limit as to how close you should get?
Sometimes I like to just look for shadows while I’m out walking around. Here are two that I found while at Phipps.
Just a few random flowers to help with those winter blues.
