Of all the lenses available I think the fisheye is the most fun to play with. In my opinion the lens is a great addition to your lens collection. Be careful not to overuse it as it can loose some of its “luster” if used too often.
This one was shot with a Nikon 10.5mm fisheye on a D300.

I photographed these gargoyles and statues while a Phipps Conservatory a few years ago. I personally like how the light and shadow set the mood for the photographs.

Tonight my post is of a flower that just looked like it was working hard. I thought the water droplets and flush colors made it look as though it had just finished a tough workout and was ready for a cool drink.
Tonight I thought I would post a flower for you. I posted this flower a while ago in a group of flowers but thought it deserved its own post.
As I looked through photos searching for something to post tonight I came across this sad orchid. As I looked at this orchid I thought to myself that this particular orchid was having a really bad day. I wondered if the photo reflected my personal feelings at the time.
Do you think that your photography represents how you feel when your taking the photo?

Tonights post is simply a close up of a flower. The question is How Close Can You Get? And do you think there is a limit as to how close you should get?
Tonight I am posting a photo that caught my eye last fall. I was just out enjoying a nice warm day when I happened upon this scene. The way the shadow was cast over the grave just seemed right to me.

With the threat of 4 inches or more of snow. I thought a quick look at a Spring flower was in order. This is a Trillium that I photographed in Ohiopyle State Park.
I’m really getting tired of looking at old photos I can’t wait for the weather to break so I can get out and take some new photographs.
