365 – 143 Rainbow Fountain
Tonight’s photo was taken a week or so ago while I was on one of my walks in the city. This is in Point State Park at about 6:30 in the evening. As I was walking around the fountain I noticed the rainbow in the spray and just had to get a shot of it.

365 – 130 Ducks on the Edge
Today we have a simple portrait of a couple of quacks on the edge. I caught these guys in the fountain at Point State Park in Pittsburgh.
365 – 121 Speciality Luggage
As I was exploring an alley in the city I came across this old sealed off door with a sign above it. I really liked the way the look of the door and I think it really lent itself to the toned B&W.
365 – 120 G-MAN on the Corner
While I was out for a walk in the city I came across this guy standing on the corner. And his style and presence just made me think of the older movies and how they showed the G-MAN.
365 – 119 Flag in the Reflection
So you may have noticed that I missed the last couple of days. But I’m back and ready to get caught up and back to the daily posting. So tonight your going to get three post to get me caught up to where I should be.
This one was a reflection that I saw in a building downtown Pittsburgh.
365 – 114 Blue Bells
Today a couple of us from the photography club that I belong to made a short trip to Cedar Creek Park and did a little wild flower photography. I had a great time hanging out with some good friends, taking some photos, and just enjoying the morning.
365 – 113 A Wild Flower
Today I’m posting one of my favorite wildflowers. They grow around my area in the early spring and are a sure sign of the end of winter. This one is a red Trillium.
365 – 96 The Mysterious Disappearing Duck
So today on my way home from work I took a quick trip to Cedar Creek Park in Westmoreland County. The park has several walking trails and is a great place to clear your mind and enjoy the weather.
Today as I started on the Gorge Trail I noticed a duck in the stream, so I changed lenses on my camera to get a few shots of him but the duck disappeared. At first I thought he had just flown away but then I noticed him up-stream about 20 feet. As I was taking some photos the duck went under water and disappeared once again. I watched up-stream and he reappeared in the same location as before. I watched him do this several times floating down stream and swimming back up-stream under the water. I was amazed that he would disappear and reappear in the same place every time.
So anyhow here is a picture of the disappearing duck that I encountered on my walk today in Cedar Creek Park.
