365 – 148 Marching into Battle

Today’s photo comes from the Civil War reenactment at Old Bedford Village. This is a group of Confederate Soldiers marching into battle.

365 – 147 Confederate Cannon Fire

Today’s photo is from a civil war reenactment that I attended today at Old Bedford Village in Bedford, Pa. This was my first time there for the civil war reenactment and I must say it was a very good one. There was plenty of things to see, participate in and photograph throughout the day.

Over the next couple of days I’ll post some of the images that I took today. Hope you enjoy them as much as I do.

365 – 146 Flag Day

Today is national flag day so in honor of that I’m posting a photo of the our flag. This particular flag has thirteen stars and thirteen stripes, representing the original thirteen colonies.

365 – 145 Pittsburgh Panoramic

This is my first attempt at Panoramic photography. I’m not 100% satisfied with it but will be trying it again to see if I can get a better result.

365 – 144 Rain or Shine

Photo of the city of Pittsburgh just after a storm. The way the sun highlighted the city with the storm clouds in the background is what caught my eye.

365 – 143 Rainbow Fountain

Tonight’s photo was taken a week or so ago while I was on one of my walks in the city. This is in Point State Park at about 6:30 in the evening. As I was walking around the fountain I noticed the rainbow in the spray and just had to get a shot of it.

365 – 142 The Point

Before I get to todays photo I just wanted to give you all an update as to where I’ve been. I was really working on the 365 project and got much further this year than last but life always to seem to get in the way of all of the fun things. And that is what happened and then work got in the way and well the rest is in the past.

Tonight I was at the photography club that I belong to and one of the members who is also dong a 365 project ask me what had happened and that got me excited about the project again. So throughout this break in post I have been taking photos but not posting them, I decided to pick up where I left off and I guess my year will end a little later than I had thought.

Hopefully you guys still want to see my work and my daily post so here goes nothing.
