Project 365 | Day 67 Fogged In

Todays photo although a little past my deadline is a shot I took this evening in the rain-snow we were having when I walked out of work.  I had intended on taking a long walk tonight in the city but the weather had other intentions.  As I was looking for something to photograph I looked up and noticed the fog really starting to overtake the two buildings.  They are the UPMC and the Melon Building.  The building in the foreground on the right is part of the old jail and courthouse.

Project 365 | Day 62 Across the Bridge

Today’s photo is from a very cold walk that I took today after work.  Its was a little under 20ºF when I decided to take a walk around the city of Pittsburgh.  Just more proof that there is something wrong with us photographers.

This shot is looking across the 6th street bridge from the city towards the north side.  To the left of the bridge you see a glimpse of PNC Park home of the Pirates baseball team.

Project 365 | Day 57 Pump Test

I often look for things to photograph that are often walked by everyday and never noticed.  Like shadows from bicycles on the street, or garbage left behind like a cup or beer can.  I’m not sure if others find these items interesting like myself, but I think sometimes they make you stop and think about whats around you.  We live in an amazing world full of interesting things and sometimes if we just stop and look around we might find something neat.

This photo was all about the pattern and the lighting.  That’s what I saw, yet many will only see the fact that they are hookups for the fire department.

Do you find them to be interesting?
