Thought I might do a quick share of a sunrise that I shot a few weeks ago. Went out for the day with a few photographer friends and we really had a great day.

Cruise Night
On Friday night I got the opportunity to drive a 1970 Z28 Camaro to the local car show for a great night out with some friends and family. I must say there really is something about the low growl of a muscle car. Looking forward to the next show with anticipation and excitement.
Included with this post is several of the cars at the show. Look for the orange and black Camaro that’s the one I drove to the show. (insert large smile here).
A Conversation with a Drunk Cowboy
Whats on the Other Side
Yesterday I received some news about my job which is concerning. Some of you may know that I work as a store manager for Radio Shack in Pittsburgh. I started as a part timer in 2011 and worked my way up to assistant manager then store manager. I truly enjoy the work that I do and have made some great friends along the way. But with the announcement of Radio Shack declaring bankruptcy, I find myself at a cross roads of sorts. The company has started the liquidation process on many stores and so far my store isn’t on the list, but I’m relatively certain that it will be added in the very near future.
So here I sit just 9 days short of my 39th birthday with a very uncertain future. I have a lot of experience and have no doubt that I will be able to land on my feet in a very short period of time but the question for me is: Which way do I go? Stay in retail or try something completely different?
Obviously I have some very important decisions to make in the very near future, but for now I’ll ponder a quote from a Robert Frost poem that I have enjoyed for years,
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—I took the one less traveled by,And that has made all the difference.

365 – 152 Cowboys
365 – 151 Watching the Streets
Today’s photo comes from the civil war reenactment at Old Bedford Village. If you haven’t noticed I really like the reenactments. This gentleman was watching the streets in town while guarding over the local jail house.
The intense look on his face just really caught my eye and the decision to go black and white was simple.
Hope you enjoy. And tomorrow I will be attending an old western reenactment, so get ready for some cowboys.
365 – 150 Civil War Operation
Todays photo comes from the Civil War reenactment that I attended at Old Bedford Village this past weekend. After the battle many of the soldiers lay wounded, dying, or dead on the field. This photo shows a Doctor working hard to help an unlucky solider that was wounded when he was shot through the cheek during the battle.
One of my favorite parts of these reenactments is learning about how things took place, how the soldiers lived, ate, and fought side by side. And this reenactment depicted a great deal of the day-to-day lives of the soldiers before and after the battle, including surgery for the wounded and how they were cared for after surgery.
