Today we have a simple portrait of a couple of quacks on the edge. I caught these guys in the fountain at Point State Park in Pittsburgh.

This is a shot of the fountain at Point State park in Pittsburgh. As I was walking towards the bride to cross I saw the sunset reflecting in the water and thought it might make an interesting composition.

365 – 128 Sunset in the City
Tonight when I got off work I went for my usual walk in the city but tonight I decided to head to Point State Park to photograph the fountain and found a new place to photograph the sunset.
Maybe next time I’ll spend a little more time on the fountain.
365 – 127 Do You Hear Bagpipes?
So I was on my walk in the city and in the distance I could swear that I heard bagpipes playing. Not thinking much about it I continued on with my walk and from time to time I would hear the faint sound of the bagpipes. So as they say curiosity got the best of me and I started to follow the sound, the closer I got the more distinct the sound got and then out of no where I found this young lady standing on the street playing her bagpipes.
You just never know what you’re going to see or hear in the city.
365 – 126 Speeding
After walking nearly 4 miles in the city tonight I was just about to call it a night when I decided to take a couple of cars on the Boulevard of the Allies in Pittsburgh. I wanted to show the speed and still capture the city lights.

Today we go back to Pittsburgh for a quick shot from Market Square. The sun was setting for the evening and I was running out of light for my handheld photos. But as I always say sometimes you just have to look up to find what you’re looking for.
